Private & Semi Private Lessons

Everything you need to know to Choose the Right Private Lesson

Our private lesson options are organized according to the areas of the pool available during each lesson time. Some time slots provide access to the shallow end only, while others include both shallow- and deep-water access.

Beginner swimmers can learn many foundational skills in the shallow end, including submersion, floats, glides and early independent swimming. More advanced levels require access to deeper water for skills such as diving, deep-water safety, surface support and endurance swimming.

Each lesson description identifies the levels and formats available for that time slot. Please select an option that matches your swimmer’s current level so the instructor has access to the appropriate pool space and can teach all required skills safely and effectively.

Semi-Private Lessons

Semi-private lessons allow siblings, friends, or swimmers of similar abilities to share an instructor. Each swimmer still receives personalized instruction while benefiting from learning and practising alongside others.

Step 1: To arrange a semi-private lesson, register one swimmer in an available  private lesson

Step 2: Complete the Semi-Private Request Form or call us.

We will add the other swimmer(s), change the class to the appropriate semi-private format, and adjust the fees accordingly.

Families are responsible for organizing the swimmers in their semi-private group. For the best experience, we recommend choosing swimmers who are reasonably close in age and swimming ability.
